Tripp and Andrew Laino have been watching movies together since 1992, and making fun of them together since 1999, when a rainy afternoon of babysitting turned into 8 hours of cheesy science fiction and jokes. Raised on a strict diet of 80s movies, the pair have an undying love for the decade and all of the weird, wonderful cinema therein, despite barely being there for it. Every other week (since 2014) they dissect a movie and the bizarre cinema quirks of 30-odd years ago.

Merry Christmas, gang!
We're tackling a truly odd duck of a movie: Santa Claus: The Movie!
Why is John Lithgow wearing these enormous teeth? Why does this movie spend 50 minutes doing Santa's life story with absolutely, positively no conflict whatsoever? What's going on with the workshop? Why are all these children flying!?

It's the best board game adaptation ever: Clue!
It's a miracle this movie is fun, Tim Curry is a treasure, Andrew loves Madeline Kahn, so much twisting and turning, Tripp talks too much about Knives Out and Battleship and many fun weapons abound!

Why on earth is it SO hard to find this movie? What, exactly, are the rules? Is Bill Paxton the coolest vampire? Why is Homer carrying a gun? Is this all a metaphor for addiction? But seriously, WHAT ARE THE RULES?
